These three puppies are sleeping (together) in a crate all night, and keeping it clean/dry. They take treats nicely, sit, down and wait. They go in and out of crates and can focus for a long time.

We walk them off leash, but will start some leash training soon.

Acadia puppies always have a home here, if their families cannot keep them for any reason. It has only happened a few times in all these years. We take the dog back, deal with any health, cosmetic and/or behavioral issues, and start searching for the best place for the puppy/dog to spend the rest of their life. Sometimes we sell them, sometimes they are given away, and if needed, they may live here for the rest of their days.

Retired Breeding Dogs

Most of our breeding dogs are purebred Golden Retrievers or Poodles. We also have a few Goldendoodles. By the time we have raised them to adulthood, they have truly become part of our family. Whether they are "washed" from our breeding program because they don't meet our standards, or have finished their breeding careers and are ready to move on, we hate to see them go. We usually find them homes with family members or friends, but may, on occasion, consider other highly-qualified homes.
