Our program builds confidence while establishing essential life skills, making your puppy's transition to your home smoother and more enjoyable. Each week in our program strengthens these foundations, creating a well-adjusted puppy ready for family life.
It’s a great investment in your puppy and your relationship.
Training success varies by individual puppy, and ongoing reinforcement will be needed in your home environment. We'll provide guidance for continuing your puppy's education and maintaining their progress.
Acadia puppies always have a home here, if their owners cannot keep them for any reason. It has only happened a few times in all these years. We will take the dog back, deal with any health, cosmetic and/or behavioral issues, and start searching for the best place for the rest of the puppy/dog's life. Sometimes we sell them, sometimes they are given away, and if needed, they are welcome to live out the rest of their days here.
Because we mainly breed English Goldendoodles, these are the puppies who will likely be available as "returned" puppies. However, there is always the slight chance that Poodles or Golden Retrievers will be returned and in need of a home.
We currently have a one-year-old female Goldendoodle available. She is a super sweet, light red Mini F1b Goldendoodle. Her parents are Destiny and Copper. She is a fun, active girl who would love to live with another playful dog, and one or more experienced humans. She loves to learn.
More details, photo and pricing will be available soon.
Our breeding process is carefully designed to ensure the health and well-being of our dogs. If a dog does not pass our extensive health testing or genetic screening, we will spay or neuter the dog and find her/him a great home. These dogs are usually ready to join a new family at 1-2 years of age.
The dogs who do pass the exams and obtain the OFA and other health certifications we require, will be bred for a reasonable amount of time (1-3 years for females, 1-9 years for males), as long as they are continuing to thrive. When they retire, we usually give them to our friends or family members, but have been known to sell them to other, excellent homes or keep them here.
Because we mainly breed F1 Goldendoodles, the majority of our breeding dogs are English Golden Retrievers, or Poodles of various sizes. So, those are the most frequently retiring dogs. However, we do have some English Goldendoodles here. They will also be looking for homes as they retire.
We don’t have any dogs currently ready to join new families.
