Adult Dogs & Training

Older PUPPIES & Adult DOGS

Returned Puppies/Dogs

Acadia puppies always have a home here, if their owners cannot keep them for any reason.  It has only happened a few times in all these years.  We will take the dog back, deal with any health, cosmetic and/or behavioral issues, and start searching for the best place for the rest of the puppy/dog's life.  Sometimes we sell them, sometimes they are given away, and if needed, they are welcome to live out the rest of their days here.

Retired Breeding Dogs

Most of our breeding dogs are purebred Golden Retrievers or Poodles.  We do have a few Goldendoodles. By the time we have raised them to adulthood, they have become part of our family.  Whether they are "washed" from our breeding program because they don't meet our standard, or have finished their breeding careers here and are ready to move on, it's hard to see them go.  We usually end up finding them a home with family members or friends, but will consider other highly-qualified homes.

AVAILABILITY

We do not have any older puppies or adult dogs currently looking for homes.

We dedicate 4-5 hours daily to house training alone, understanding that consistency and patience are key to successful outcomes. Each puppy receives individual training sessions at least 5 days per week, ensuring they develop at their own pace while mastering each skill.
