Forty-Niner is an athlete. He loves to run and focuses much better on his training after some excercise. He will be able to keep up with an active person or family and is a fun-loving, good-natured guy. He's smart, and likes training, so if you want a dog who you can train for service or sport/competition he's your guy.
Formal training began on 1/20/26. These puppies are already going outside to potty (through a dog door), coming when called ("Puppy Come"), have great manners for grooming, and LOVE to cuddle/be handled. They are making great progress on sleeping quietly in their crates, riding in the car, and some early behaviors such as "sit" and "down."

Georgia Belle is a sweet girl. She loves to play, and likes to train. She'll pay attention to her human, but is also very aware of her environment. She would be great to train as a service dog for someone who has a hearing or sight deficit, or as an alert dog for any number of issues. This girl knows what's going on! She can think for herself when needed, generally makes good decisions and is cooperative with her humans. She's easy to handle and groom. She loves to snuggle and receive a good massage.

Returned Puppies/Dogs
Acadia puppies always have a home here, if their families cannot keep them for any reason. It has only happened a few times in all these years. We take the dog back, deal with any health, cosmetic and/or behavioral issues, and start searching for the best place for the puppy/dog to spend the rest of their life. Sometimes we sell them, sometimes they are given away, and if needed, they may live here for the rest of their days.
Retired Breeding Dogs
Most of our breeding dogs are purebred Golden Retrievers or Poodles. We also have a few Goldendoodles. By the time we have raised them to adulthood, they have truly become part of our family. Whether they are "washed" from our breeding program because they don't meet our standards, or have finished their breeding careers and are ready to move on, we hate to see them go. We usually find them homes with family members or friends, but may, on occasion, consider other highly-qualified homes.
